Sizing Help Guide Lines: shirts, coats and slacks Neck: Take a similar shirt with a collar that fits comfortably. Lay the collar flat- measure from the center of the collar button all the way around to the end of the button hole. The number of inches is the neck size. Sleeve: Start at the very center of the back, measuring across the shoulder over the elbow to the wrist. The number of inches is the “sleeve length” Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest; keeping the tape under arms and around the shoulder blades. Hold snugly to the body. Add two inches to the number to get your suit coat size. Waist: Measure around your waist over the body (not over your pants) at the point on your waist that you normally wear your slacks. Put one finger in between the tape and your body. The number of inches is your waist size. Sweaters and shirts: Figure Medium for 38-40, Large for 42-44, XL for 44-46, XXL for 48-50. On pants, length refers to inseam length.
